Thanks for coming, I’m Lloyd, the heart and hands behind Folk Eats. I started this journey in 2023 with one simple goal: to feed the people with food that carries family, tradition, and care in every bite.

I grew up on the coast of South Carolina, where food was more than just a meal—it was a way of life. My first lessons in the kitchen came from watching my mom, and over time I learned from just about everyone in my family—brothers-in-law, cousins, pop and countless shared meals around the table. I added my own twist through years of experimentation, cooking for our big family gatherings and circles of friends. Folk Eats is the next chapter of that story.

Every soup and stew we serve comes from a blend of those memories, traditions, and my love of creating food that brings people together.
